Decasia: The State Of Decay

From IMDB:
A meditation on the human quest to transcend physicality, constructed from decaying archival footage and set to an original symphonic score.

Review:
Like a million abstract works of art flickering past ones eyes, this takes a little getting used to!!! I did feel at first as if my eyeballs were being flayed, but this passes and one is rewarded with some truly memorable images created by the hand of man and time itself...a chemical wedding of sorts. The music is a perfect accompaniment, like a Philip Glass symphony that is very slowly decaying and declining... exhilarating and tragic all at once. my favourite images were that of a silver baby being born and aeroplanes with parachutes descending forever in an exploding, boiling, fizzing sky. Anti-Fantasia! - Purtle
